Ryan Grindler is the co-owner of 101 Restaurant and Mint Lounge in Tallahassee, Florida and one of the founders of the Edison Restaurant, a new restaurant, banquet room and catering company slated to open in Cascades Park in the Fall of 2015. For his restaurants, Ryan oversees finance, legal, real estate and development of new projects. Ryan is also the President of Wildwood Realty, a full-service real estate firm based in Tallahassee.
Prior to moving to Tallahassee, Ryan worked for a private real estate firm based in Miami Beach where he served as Director of Acquisitions and Development. During his six years with this firm, Ryan oversaw over half a billion dollars in capital transactions, including the assemblage of a large group of retail properties on Lincoln Road where he lead acquisition, redevelopment and financing activities as well as negotiating joint venture agreements with publically traded and institutional partners. Ryan served as the firm’s credit officer, where he reviewed the financial and operational strength of potential tenants and oversaw numerous workouts during the liquidity crisis that began in 2008.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida State University, Ryan worked in Washington, D.C. for United States Senator Bill Nelson in various political and fundraising roles. During this time, Ryan obtained his law degree at American University’s Washington College of Law and briefly worked in Maryland’s Community Development Administration’s Low Income Tax Credit section.
Ryan is a former member of the City of Miami’s Housing and Commercial Loan Committee Board and the National Eagle Scout. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association and is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Florida. He resides in Tallahassee with his wife, Grace, and two children.
