Stephen Hodges (Music Director) is an ex-professional touring musician, occasional actor and writer, and a professional city planner. He has created compelling and memorable soundscapes for a variety of local theater productions, including SSC mainstage productions of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Comedy of Errors. Other productions include Red Roses for Me, Da, Black Coffee, Witness for the Prosecution, The Member of the Wedding, Cat On a Hot Tin Roof, The Seafarer, Much Ado About Nothing, Playboy of the Western World, The Irish Curse, The Shaughraun, Outside Mullingar, and Sea Marks. Stephen is a board member of Tallahassee’s Irish Repertory Theatre and a founding member of the Irish musical group Sligo Line. He teaches guitar, tenor banjo, and mandolin at the Sparrow Music Camp, and is currently studying jazz guitar with Perry Osborn and Corey Christiansen.
