Classroom Visits

Our mission is entertainment that educates and education that entertains. Let us partner with your school, classroom, or community center to make it happen!

Southern Shakespeare is proud to offer classroom visits and artist residencies that incite student interest in history, language, and performance relevant to Shakespeare’s times, themes, and work.

Educators can choose or customize workshops and topics based on their students’ interests and needs. Explore or regular classroom visit options, Shakespeare Man and Sonnet Man, below then reach out to Educator Director Jason Chimonides to coordinate:

As always [Shakespeare Man] did a remarkable job peaking my students’ minds about Shakespeare and his accomplishments. The outfit is a bonus as well as the accent. It is a wonderful introduction into MacBeth.
