This year we celebrated our Free Shakespeare in the Park production of William Shakespeare’s most-recognized tragedy, Macbeth, starring Marc Singer (V, Beastmaster), by offering WINES TO DIE FOR!
Shakespeare Uncorked – April 6th 2019 – 6:30pm- 9:00pm
Wine Tasting | 21 and over
The evening was filled to overflowing with over 50 wines and Tallahassee’s top chefs cooking up some of their most delicious dishes at the Governors Club.
The Governors Club provided the perfect blend of Tallahassee history and contemporary finishes. From aperitif to dessert, our chefs and wine distributors made certain our guests’ glasses were filled and plates were full of scrumptious samples from Tallahassee’s best.
In the spirit of Macbeth this year, we celebrated in true Scottish form and welcomed our guests to celebrate in style! The rooms were filled with kilts, sashes, and tom o-shanters! What a grand time had by all!
Fantastic food, wine, music and, of course, SCOTCH and cigars (thanks to FUMA and Warhorse!
A tremendous THANK YOU to all of our participating restaurants and wine distributors; and most deepest appreciation and gratitude to our event Coordinator, Charla Lucas; and Southern Shakespeare Company Board members, Mark Seidenfeld and Calla MacNamara for seeing its success!
And to all of our volunteers, including the most incredible Peggy Tinkler, who worked to make all of the Scottish pieces available to our guests that evening, THANK YOU!!!
