Southern Shakespeare Company and Tallahassee Community College are proud to offer Camp Shakespeare each summer for rising 3rd through 9th grade students!

Structured with rotating activities for two age groups, this week-long camp offers something for everyone. Housed in the beautiful TCC Fine and Performing Arts Center, campers will discover the excitement of theatre and performing with a big focus on FUN!

Please note that our enrollment cap has been reached, and we look forward to welcoming our Campers to TCC!

Trying theatre is a big big push out of my child’s comfort zone. This is a kiddo who does not want eyes on her under any circumstances, and she has come home saying how much fun it is to be on stage! You have clearly done an amazing job with creating an inclusive, judgement-free zone, and she is benefiting from it in a big way. She is actually excited about the performance tomorrow, which is just mind blowing to me. Thanks so much for everything this week!

2022 Camp Shakespeare Participant

Your child will experience many outside and indoor activities, including arts and crafts, backstage work, drama games, theatre techniques, water balloon battles, and mock sword fighting. Directed by professional theatre educators from Southern Shakespeare in partnership with Tallahassee Community College, Camp Shakespeare will bring theatre and Shakespeare to life. The week concludes with a performance on the state-of-the-art Turner Auditorium stage where your young artist will showcase what they learned and created during the week.

We cannot wait to explore, play, and learn with our campers each year.
