Attorney Sean Pitman (Guest Host) has been named one of the “Top 100 Most Influential People in Florida Politics” by Influence Magazine, is an advocate, philanthropist, and thought leader in the areas of policy, politics, education, and law. Florida Trend magazine lists Sean as “A Must Know Contact” in Florida’s Capital and his numerous professional accolades are surpassed only by his civic and philanthropic endeavors.
Sean was awarded the Johnnie L. Cochran Jr. Lawyer of the Year Award by the National Bar Association, one of Florida State University’s highest recognitions, the Vires Award, the Distinguished Member of the Year Award from Leadership Florida, and the Servant Leadership Award by the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce. Sean is the Past President of the prestigious Orange Bowl Committee, served as General Counsel for the National Bar Association, a Board Member of the American Diabetes Association, Founder and Chairman of the Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce, and is a Trustee for the Florida State University Foundation and National Football Foundation. Through his philanthropy, Sean has generously donated to the Florida State University College of Law to fund the Sean Pittman Scholarship for deserving minority students.
Sean is a co-host of the television talk show “The Usual Suspects,” airing on one of the highest-watched CBS affiliates in the country and hosts his own radio show and podcast series, “The Sean Pittman Show.” Sean has appeared on MSNBC, CNN, and Fox News, while also being published in USA Today, the Tallahassee Democrat, the Miami Herald, the Palm Beach Post, and more. Sean is also the author of Disaffected! – a heartfelt call to action and an eye-opening explanation of how the power of voting is the one true solution to address the critical issues we face today. Through detailed research and first-hand interviews, the book explains how all people are impacted by the results of every election whether they cast a ballot or not. Disaffected! breaks down some of the most consequential elections in recent history to illustrate that every vote truly counts.
Sean and his wife, Dr. Audra Pittman, reside in Tallahassee, Florida, raising their three amazing daughters, Paloma, Pilar, and Phoebe.
THE TEAM
Christina Rodriguez de Conte (Director) holds a PhD in Theatre Studies from FSU and a Masters in Applied Theatre from Emerson College. As a Theatre Artist, Activist, and Scholar, Rodriguez de Conte lives a hybrid artistic identity that values both the creative production of theatre and critical academic conversation. Key acting roles include Lady Macbeth (Macbeth), Jason (Medea), and Eddie / Dr. Scott (The Rocky Horror Show). Directing credits include The Cuban Swimmer, Macbeth, and RENT! As a playwright, she has produced a short play My Very Own Cuban American Story of Origin, solo show Other, and the lesbian super-SHEro, Shero: Femme Fatale. In 2019, Rodriguez de Conte wrote and directed The Mystery of the Violated Vagina, an absurdist comedy that investigates trauma and r*pe culture. Her newest show, Butch, Pregnant & Pissed (on myself) travels through the moments of pregnancy that gloriously complicate our own predisposition of being Butch.
